Trust & Security

Built to be trusted with your learners.

Communityline Portal is designed for institutions that take data seriously — schools, government training programs, and enterprises. Here's how we handle security, availability, accessibility, and your data.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility conformance · self-hostable · your data stays yours.

Hosting & deployment

Deploy on our managed cloud or self-host on your own infrastructure — a fit for data-residency and procurement requirements. Each deployment runs on isolated resources with SSL/TLS in transit.

Backups & recovery

Automatic backups run on a routine schedule so your courses, learners, and records are recoverable. Enterprise deployments can define their own retention and disaster-recovery posture.

Your data, your ownership

You own your institution's data. One-click export of all core records as JSON and CSV is built in — even when a license is inactive — so migration is never a hostage situation.

Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)

The interface is built and audited to WCAG 2.1 Level AA: associated form labels, keyboard operability, visible focus, screen-reader landmarks, and AA color contrast. A conformance report is available on request.

Access & roles

Granular roles (admin, instructor, student) with registration modes for open, approval-based, invitation-only, or admin-only account creation. Every sensitive admin action is written to an audit log.

Availability & monitoring

A built-in site-health dashboard surfaces configuration and operational status for administrators, so issues are visible before they become incidents.

Questions about security or compliance?

We're happy to walk procurement, IT, and compliance teams through our deployment model, accessibility conformance report, and data-handling practices.
